Whistle is great, however compass doesn’t point north even if it is level. Better to get a whistle by itself.

Not 5 stars because the compass is acting weird sometimes but it does work, I haven't seen a compass this size that works properly so this is not a big issue. Other than that it's really loud and nice

Item was much smaller than I thought it would be. However, if you get a good amount of air running through it, it is loud. I will be leaving this attached to my backpack for those emergency needs. The reason for the 4 star and not 5, is because the compass has to be held steady and flat, otherwise it will bind inside, get stuck and not give you a true reading until you level it off. I understand that is how compasses will read but for me, this thing has to be almost perfectly flat, which in your hand and trying to find your heading, its tedious.

Smaller than I thought it would be, whistle sounds good but the compass is too small and doesn't seem to work all that well, more of a novelty than a functioning compass.
